NCEES lists separate Civil exam specifications beginning in April 2027. Candidates scheduled through March 2027 should use the current profile. Candidates scheduled in April 2027 or later should use the specification marked for that effective date and confirm all current reference requirements directly with NCEES.
ReasonSpan™'s current coverage
The current ReasonSpan™ PE Civil Construction program is mapped to exams scheduled through March 2027. It should not be purchased as an April 2027 specification course unless ReasonSpan™ explicitly updates the product coverage before enrollment.
Transition checklist
- Confirm the exact exam appointment date.
- Download the specification effective for that date from NCEES.
- Compare every knowledge area and question range with the course outline you plan to use.
- Obtain the current reference handbook and permitted design standards.
